Story behind the song
For those of us who seem to be unfortunate in the sense that we were raised as fatherless children. Usually seeking guidance from virtually unknown sources of men who we admired as father figures. God can and will use other people in our lives, men as well as women, as convenient characters, working his will for us through them. Over the years we can discover that our heavenly father is truly all of the guidance that we really need. Psa 68:5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. Let us rejoice in knowing that God is the father of all.
