Malaren is a solo studio project that allows my mind to wander and my muse to guide me to new sonic spaces. The music is best characterized as New Age with some World influence, often there's a touch of Pop or Instrumental Rock thrown in for good measure. Some of the material was written to evoke specific sonic soundscapes from around the world, combining various cultural, instrumental and compositional elements, while maintaining a grounding in Western Pop.
