Conspiracy Radio THE SETUP Need help setting your decks? Have a look here. Alternatively you may want to use mp3 mixers that are readily available - -just make sure you have a fairly decent quality mic set-up as we want actual ‘hosts’ rather than just 2 hours of tracks. Firstly you will need winamp, any version as long as not version 3. You can download it here for free. Next you will require the DSP plug-in to make Shoutcast work with it all. Direct download for DSP is here. Open up winamp like so… (FIRST PHOTOSHOP PICTURE) Making sure that winamp is the selected application; press Control + P and a box will open up. Have a look through until you see Plug-ins and select DSP/Effect… (SECOND PHOTOSHOP PICTURE) Choose the one you see selected here and configure, just tell it YES a lot and OK, then close that window. With any luck a new box will pop up named Shoutcast Source and this is where we start the fun. Right, follow these steps to the letter please. Output tab Connection Output Configuration Address: oneserver.co.uk Port: 9030 Password: (will be announce once you are set up) Still on Output tab press the Yellowpages button. Make server public “Yes”. Description: e.g. “Reef Da Lost Cauze Live On Conspiracy Radio – add us to your msn conspiracyworldwide@hotmail.com” Genre: Hip Hop Encoder tab Encoder 1. Mp3 Encoder. Encoder Settings: 128kbps, 44. 100kHz, Stereo Input tab If using winamp as your sound source, then choose winamp as your input device e.g. running a play list using winamp playing music in winamp. If you're mixing mp3s on another program or using decks then choose soundcard input. You're done Now go back to out put tab Now press “connect” and it 'should' work at the set time we arranged. You will have to wait for the previous dj to log out before you will be able to log in so please be patient More points 1. We begin on Sunday October 1st 2006 on a new site ( the url for the stream stays the same – the station becomes The Hip Hop Channel (Conspiracy Radio still) for another station. REMEMBER THAT WE ARE TTALLY UNCENSORED – you can play and say whatever is from your heart. 2. Try to stay to your timeslots – any reported misuse (ie.
