Hi folks. Here's where you can download some of my songs; pretty soon I'll have songs from my musicals ('Cosmic Cafe', 'All About Life', 'Love's Labours Lost', 'A Simple Man'), a sample of my 'FairyTale' and a few recordings from my pop past and present, both with Out Of The Blue and now by myself. The musical songs are generally pop-rock in style; nothing too classical or depressing there. The FairyTale is a piano & orchestra piece telling a story suitable for kids. And the other stuff; well, that's mostly pop-rock, hopefully stuff you'll be able to smile and tap your feet to.

Story behind the song
It's an ode to movies that disappoint. Inspired by the second Matrix film, which I detest, it goes into all those bitterley anguished feelings you get (well, maybe it's just me) when things aren't quite what you'd wished for. It's for geeks.
Lyrics
Calm, almost comatose Radiation pouring from my videos Slowly I descend into a virtual universe Flicker from a TV screen Storing every image that I've ever seen Narratvies exploring worlds I'll never even know They're screening movies in my head I'm pretty sure the bad guy's dad But the heroine is suffocating, our super-hero's so self-hating I've got a scene stuck in my mind In which the world will tilt and we'll all be fine I'll just suspend my disbelief And live with movie-lover's grief An Alien just broke out of his cage And the angry young captain learns to channel his rage With a cheesy one-liner and the wink of an eye Multi-camera angles watch the alien die Bad plots and a cliche script A British villain keeping straight-upper-lipped I think we've got time to see the whole cast fly With the aid of a watch and a superspy They're screening movies in my head I'm pretty sure the bad guy's dad But the heroine is suffocating, our super-hero's so self-hating I've got a scene stuck in my mind In which the world will tilt and we'll all be fine I'll just suspend my disbelief And live with movie-lover's grief Part one showed us they could break all the rules Part two made us laugh in the stalls Part three - I didn't see - we're not all fools Reload before the Revolution begins, indeed They're screening movies in my head I'm pretty sure the bad guy's dad But the heroine is suffocating, our super-hero's so self-hating I've got a scene stuck in my mind In which the world will tilt and we'll all be fine I'll just suspend my disbelief And live with movie-lover's grief I've got a scene stuck in my mind In which the world will tilt and we'll all be fine I'll just suspend my disbelief And live with movie-lover's grief
