Word from within. That day affected me deeply(I don't live in NYC, but I'm an American)and I will NEVER forget
Artist picture
Been into this rap thing for 20 years now, listening and studying more than practicing. At 25 years old, I'm finally making moves. Yeah, it's long over due, but it is all in due time. Listening to my songs and checking out my page, people may get the idea that J Malice is a monster or sicko; couldn't be further from the truth. J Malice has a heart and is willing to bet any amount of wealth that it's bigger than anyone who chooses to come through here. Don't judge a book by it's cover. You have to open the pages and read inside if you really want to know about someone.

Story behind the song
That day was a tragedy. So much went wrong, but yet so much went right. We learned what it was like to be American
Lyrics
Never will forget that memorableTuesday/ started out just like any other new day/ business as usual, jobs to get to/ and I woke up at noon needing some food to make/ who would think that tragedy would strike the nation/ haven't thought like that it seems like for ages/ it's insanity, the perps would be quite mistaking/ but it did happen and many innocent lives were taken/ an act of war by dispicable cowards/ hijacked two airplanes and crashed them into the Towers/ World Trade Center instantly devoured/ by debris, fire, white smoke and intentions of the sick cowards/ mad power is the posession/ wanting to exterminate the US in sections/ within hours, total chaos befell resulting from hate and agression/ so many lessons, messes and books of pages containing questions/ Nothing was accidental that day and the minutes went on/ screwing with my mental and my vision of God/ sentimental feelings, but we listened on/ to hear a plane trasnformed missile has just crashed into the Pentagon/ listen ya'll, pinch me, I'm not feeling hot/ wanted to go drifting off to churches and synagogues/ it's just hard with the events and all/ turned to the screen just in time to see one of the buildings fall/ by now, my brain was clanking extraneous/ cause they just flashed up another plane crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania/ madness mania, sadness, I'm drained of/ tears every single time I decide to bring it up/ then the other bulidings fell, felt like armageddeon/ the end was nigh and I said to myself, are you ready/ no more plates at mom's of warm spaghetti/ cause your world has been invaded by a common enemy, they're swarming deadly Strange, heart-breaking day that I will never forget/ everyone lending hands to help their fellow Americans/ I swear again, some of these men and women were Heaven sent/ we were all relatives living at one residence/ the president vowed to seek out the attackers/ using government intelligence to try and out smart minds of the masters/ since then, the world has gone into undenying disaster/ and the meaning of life seems to just be unraveling faster/ ask myself, was I meant to live/ life hasn't gone anywhere so it's argumentative/ I could have a wife and some little kids/ but I could lose it all in minutes like those innocent people on that day in September did/ like soldiers in the bush sharing guns/ no unfairness, we loved, helped and cared for everyone/ that's what you're supposed to do whenever terror comes/ on that day, there were no races, just Americans
