Peace All: You are invited to enjoy the music and spoken word of Resa E. I am a lyricist, a poet, and a revolutionary. I am influenced by situations that teach me more of who I am as a person and who I aught to be. I am also motivated by lame-wack rappers who think they are supreme in this game of Hip Hop culture. Story behind the song
I travelled recently to Ghana, located in West Africa and was amazed, sad, confused, enlightened, burdoned, and happy with what I saw and experienced. Being from Chicago I always knew that there was something that could explain the seperation of mind and body as well as the disconnect among Black people at times. So being there opened my mind and heart up to what I had been wanting to do for so long---a Revolution. This is a song that will hopefully inspire people trapped in the hood, elevated to the upper classes and outsiders looking in; to develop something within themselves to change for the betterment of the whole community.
