Story behind the song
Some highlights of Big Pine Key, located 30 miles north of Key West. Unlike Key West, which has been ruined by development and cruise ships, Big Pine remains relatively unspoiled but with some interesting features--including the famous little Key deer, a protected species. It is also home to my daughter and granddaughter.
