An experimental first attempt to combine some different genres in one song. It has a rock-touch to it, up until the end where it becomes kinda weird actually =)
alternative rock classic

Story behind the song
Actually the first motivation from this song came from this composition of Pot from Tool (I'd rather refer to this music as compositions, not songs) wich is really cool actually with amazing complexity. So not long after that I came up with this extremely simple guitar riff wich you here at the beginning and at some other locations in the song. At this point I really wanted to make something that rocked hard! Wich you probably still can hear in the intro. But in the next few days, as the song developped more and more and arrived to a chorus-like thing (it's more of a transition actually since it does not return in the song at a later point). From here I throwed in some acoustic guitars, wich gave this "chorus" a more poppy kind of touch. The guitar after this part of the song is something I came up with after some experimenting with a Phaser effect, the result is quite cool I think =) Well after this the song falls back in the original chords and most instruments introduced earlier make their second appearance here. I wanted to have some kind of a guitar solo, and first came up with a blues-kind-of-thing but it messed up everything. So eventually I changed it into this really simple screaming-guitar thing. Well.. after that.. The end is really experimental. It starts of with this pad\choir-sound combined with a Cello. After this these instruments are accompanied with a drawbar organ to add a little more drama to it. And the song fades out with the sounds of a thunderstorm wich I recorded while I was mastering the last part of the song. It took me 3 months to fully complete Moody. At some undefined point it really became an obsession to me to get everything perfectly balanced out. And I still can't listen to it without thinking, this could've been better.. if I only ... Well.. That's really all you need to know about this song;)
