Story behind the song
This song has theology behind it, and is written off Malachi as well as the gospel where we learnt about tithing.
You know... I used to struggle with tithing because I'm in credit card debts, my family is in debt due to failed business, and money is so, so important - I mean every cent of it... it's a struggle to tithe!
But as I trust God and gave my tithe, my financial situations began to change over time, and I'm never the same again now :)
Really, what the Bible is trying to say is... bring your tithe, and you will never have lack. And God issues this challenge with His own words in Malachi, and we know God never lies! :)
I hope this song inspires faith in you, and encourage you to be a faithful tither, even when you do not experience your harvest now, IT IS COMING!!!! :)
