Story behind the song
This is one of the few songs that I took into account some good input about the chord arrangement for the verses. The chords for the chorus were from a progression that I came up with during an improvisational jam, which I used to do much more than now. The opening arpeggiated notes were originally meant to be played as one riff but I liked the idea of letting some notes ring, so the second two measures were split into two six-note riffs. I haven`t played this live yet so I`ll have to work that out somehow. I think the shift from a major chord feel on the riff and chorus to minor on the verses is kinda neat. The message of the song is pretty much self-explanatory-it`s about spiritual health, which is every bit as important as cardiovascular or other types. I wanted to promote that without getting into any particular religious connotation. This is a demo version so no downloads, sorry.
