Story behind the song
In July 2006 a remake of the album "The Need for Theory" was made in cooperation with recording engineer Johan Nordström of Janeco Studios. This is the new version. This song was one of the last finished for this album. The screams in the beginning and the end of the song don't contain any lyrics, although people have claimed to hear actual "words" there. The whole lyrical concept revolves around the typical human beings mind. Subhuman, if you will. I think that every human has a good potential to actually think and react as they want to, but when we look at the situation earth finds itself in because of mankind, I'm sure that people just aren't using their heads. And if they are, we should be grateful that most people aren't thinking...
Lyrics
What for? What needs do we need to please? This mind takes nothing for granted. In your pain I regain a build-up for the future to be everyone’s end Godlike power ; life versus theory Frantic abductions Theory = Logic It would require a sum of sub logic to mass destruct the earth Therefore no one should be allowed to think... ever.
