Story behind the song
In July 2006 a remake of the album "The Need for Theory" was made in cooperation with recording engineer Johan Nordström of Janeco Studios. This is the new version. As the case was with "Koma", the intro for this song was an idea born a long time ago. This song contains a lot of thrash metal, and a little bit of melody as well. The usual lyrical theme of misanthropy also has found its way into this song. Quite rapid from the start to the end. I may as well confess to not liking this song anymore while I'm at it. In retrospective, I shouldn't have put this song on the cd, I really don't like it that much, and don't think it deserves its place on an otherwise great album. Still, give it a listen, maybe it's what you're looking for.
Lyrics
Welcome to my small world There’s nothing for you here I’ve seen the patriotic senseless men Arrive and shortly after disappear Just like the dawn of heaven Or the growing flames of hell Reputation about the horned one Never gives answers to those who fell Instant bleak approvals are promised to the godlike whore Then she’s raped, she’s cast out And it is the beginning of a war I kill not only for my own pleasure As I am never truly allowed to But as soon as the master gives his command His wish I’ll accomplish I’ll kill you! Completions undisputed have drawn you to his horde when travesty speaks, it’s common to kneel and give praise to the infernal lord. Is it worth to spill your anger? Is it really worth to die for? Then I beg you; take your own life you may die when ready, it’s your call. I’ll kill you!
