John Schmidt, Manheim Steamroller, George Winston, you ain't seen nothing yet....
My Name is Nathan Madse, I started playing the piano at age 14. I was watching a special on PBS of Gerswhin's Rhapsody In Blue and was mesmorised. I decided to learn how to play it. At my first piano recital I wore a tux and stepped up to the piano, other selections heard that night were mary had a little lamb and nick nack paddy wack give a dog a bone. I played the first few bars and recieved a standing ovation. I began writing music at age 14 as well, lyric and music came naturaly to me as though I were listening to a radio station and writing down the words I was hearing. I won first place at the talent show for my college, a song I wrote about my then fiance now wife Rebecca who had lost the ability to walk and see at age 8. It was called little Ballerina. I love solo piano, and am fans of John Schmidt, Kurt Bestor, David Lanz, George Winston to name a few. I hope I can provide the same type of music for listeners to enjoy because I am also an avid listener as well.
