Story behind the song
in 1965, walter ulbricht, then the stalinist ruler of the german democratic republic, spoke to paliament requesting the supression of rock'n'roll bands, who were, in his eyes, infiltrating east-german youths with capitalist propaganda. as we at blaukreuz don't like capitalist propaganda either, it is our pleasure to relay his message here, 51 years later, in a more contemporary fashion... :->
