Hippy Dye Cowboy is an idea, a band, a dream, some music, some friends, and a recording project. It also stays crispy in milk and goes well with a nice, dark honey porter. The band, as such, is comprised of several people who have collaborated on both musical and lyrical content. These efforts are then collected by Todd; the work is distilled and coaxed into a final product. While not a band in the traditional sense, it doesn't truly fall into the category of "solo act". None of the music would exist without the contributions of the whole.

Lyrics
Went to the thrift store the other day, Sky was cloudy, looked like rain, Sign out front says, "Jesus Saves," I didn't feel like being saved, But I found a cup & saucer, You could bathe a small child in... ****** Bangles, beads & things, All kinds of frippery, Old clothes you never wore, Leave 'em with the goodwill store, Take a friend or two, Find something new to you, For just a dollar more, You can buy the whole damn store... ****** On to another store that very same day, Hunting for that perfect thing, fuzzy & gray, Girl in black says, "It's my lucky day," "Your sweater's just my size, do you wanna trade?" And she looked like the girl, Who's searching for a second-hand coffin, Sometimes you find treasure, In the strangest thing someone has forgotten... ******(x2) Copyright (c) 1995, Todd C.
