Artist picture
English lyricist working with dozens of composers and artists
I am a lyricist working with many composers and artists around the world and most frequently with 2 guys, Juri Rosenfeld and Mark Ellis who, although their styles are entirely different, are both extremely talented as musicians and composers, as well as producers. Along with these two, with whom I have written more than 50 songs....I have been most fortunate to collaborate with so many others that the list is almost endless but two very talented ladies spring to mind: Dawn Diamond and Amy Caldwell, who have not only both composed for my words but have also both are possessed of beautiful voices and have sung many, many times on songs I have written. There is no ONE genre I write for, since a lyricist has to be able to write for ANY category and I do, but one thing I try to be always, is honest in my work because when there is integrity, there is a way to relate to the song and if occasionally I meander into the poetic, it is because I am and always have been, since the age of 13 years, a poet...but that doesn't mean everything I write is flowery or full of metaphors...as I say, I strive always to be real and of course, most importantly, to be as unique as possible.

Lyrics
On this perfect day by Dawn Sinclair V1 In the city where the people meet, I walk head down invisibly they cannot see me; it suits my mood I'm moving to another beat, just following the way of the street no one to meet...with attitude chorus They can't tell me if they can't reach me ...I'm walking tall and walking free And that's how I'll stay I don't hear and I don't make reply When they're asking me... the how or why no, I just don't say V2 On the boardwalk where the tourists go, I shade my eyes so no one knows the thoughts in my head; it suits my style I listen to the roaring sea; it tells its tales of woe to me in tones of dread...for quite a while chorus2 No one stops me coz they can't reach me I'm walking tall and I'm walking free And that's how I'll stay I don't hear and I don't make reply When they're asking me... the how or why no I just won't say bridge There must be a perfect place Where I'm happy just to be Where the world will fit my face Can I ever just feel free Is there somewhere for a loner just like me? solo bridge So where is this perfect place? will I ever know its name? I'm searching very thoroughly ; I know you'd do the same and I'm trying so hard .....to make it a game In the country where the scarecrows stand, I fin'lly feel I understand ....the big, wide world; it's not just land I'm watching all the birds in flight; the skies are filled with their delight and I breathe the sounds; and taste the sights chorus3 You could tell me this is meant to be I'm walking tall and living free And that's how I'll stay I don't mind what the others do I will stay here in this Eden true On this perfect day.
