Death, a happy subject matter.

A refreshing mix of ultra cheesy pop rock and disturbingly dark social comentary.
I'm a Guitarist/Songwriter/Reluctant singer who plays an odd mix of pop hard rock, blues, and some other stuff, while sometimes veering insanely into anti establishment satiracal metal, techno and/or country. I used to be in a local Boston band called Aesthetik that played all over New England in the mid to late 90's. I also have a degree from the Berklee College of Music in Music Production and Engineering. Learn even more about me at my website.... http://www.ErikZmusic.com

Story behind the song
I wrote the guitar part to this song sitting in Eric Bisceglia's parents kitchen in either 1997 or 1998. It took me 3 years to finish the rest. I wrote the lyrics in 2000 sitting on my rooftop in Allston. All the guitars were recorded with my N4.
Lyrics
If you were to step off of this world, right now You'd get no warning, or last goodbyes There's no room enough to worry, and you get no regrets cuz it doesn't feel to die   If my time comes I hope that I'm prepared If my time comes I hope we live again   I'd like to think I'd see the sunrise a few thousand more time find true love, and grow old the clock ticks backwards faster as we go and what if god doesn't exist.
