A refreshing mix of ultra cheesy pop rock and disturbingly dark social comentary.
I'm a Guitarist/Songwriter/Reluctant singer who plays an odd mix of pop hard rock, blues, and some other stuff, while sometimes veering insanely into anti establishment satiracal metal, techno and/or country. I used to be in a local Boston band called Aesthetik that played all over New England in the mid to late 90's. Story behind the song
My magnum opus recorded entirely in October 2001. The piano intro I'd been playing around with for years, but it sort of just became real one month in '01. It seriously took me about 2 weeks to record all the different parts. This song had so many tracks my computer ground to a halt and I had to do all sorts of submixes during the techno section. Even a dual processor G4 can't handle this much stuff.

Tell me this is the way it's gonna be tell me everything's allright if I walked through a different door i'd be sure that I could get back through   tell me the truth before the clock runs out will this journey never end cuz I'm starting to think that maybe they're all lies I know I've tried to be who I am   Now I'm walkin down a different road One I used to watch from a far now I feel as if I've fallen down and I won't be found again but maybe I skinned my knee   A few years back I thought I knew it all now all I know is that I don't the world around me now seems so absurd and I'm not sure if any of it's real at all.   I want to be, something that I can't understand but they don't want me around, in town after town you'd think I'd just give up   if I coud see, what lies beyond these hills it would put me at ease like wind throught the trees when I'm sittin on the charles   I wish I could show you what lies beyond these it's nothing to fear I'll show you my dear are you ready to know   what it's all about, just try and take a step back I promise it will not harm and I'll try not to alarm you but it's all around   just close your eyes and look deep within your soul you see the answers I'll share but you're already there you just gotta let go.....   And I, I never want it to end I think I've come so far, but I've just begun I, I never want it to end I'm ready now to face what lies ahead.
