There are two version of this song. While the original one representing the different side of the band, the Upmix version is the result of old and the new sound. Both version, should be equally INSPIRING, depending on the listeners mood and preferences. 'Down The 99 Route' si actually a love song, inspired by somebody closed to the writer at the time but things gone wrong before the writer managed to finish the song. Feeling down the writer manage to get the strength to finish song eventually. And the result, a song that are truely inspiring to the writer, it can be happy song, love song or even a very sad song and somehow it all fits in this one song. This track also opens the door to the new sounds and indirectly inspire other tracks on the album.
The band have a vivid idea for the video music. The message should be about HOPE and NEVER GIVE UP, and that there is always light at the end of the road. After thought, the band decided to dedicate this track to the HIV/AIDS campaign with a hope of producing a nice and inspiring video about HIV/AIDS. Still keep our fingers crossed :)
