Christian rock, with a driving acoustic style and overdriven electric guitar to back it. Vocal style is along the lines of Springsteen, gravely and raw.
I'm not a band, really. I'm just me. I find it amazing how God can work in our lives. In March of 2001, I had never played guitar. Always had a deep hunger for it, but things just never worked out. Finally, in 2001 at age 41, I decided to buy a guitar and dedicate myself to it. Now, just a few years later, I'm playing guitar, playing keys, singing, playing live and recording. God is amazing.

Story behind the song
I was asked to sing/perform a "social justice" song for a presentation given by Dr. James Blessman of Blessman Medical Ministries. When I couldn't think of anything to sing, I decided to write my own.
Lyrics
VERSE 1 Tell me, please, what does it mean to become a man when you’re sixteen? Do you hold your baby sister tight ‘cause there won’t be no fire tonight? And tell me, what’s that man to do when his shanty lets the rain run through? Can he face his little brother when they’ll be goin’ hungry once again? PRE-CHORUS Take a look so deep into his eyes Ain’t no tears ‘cause men don’t cry If his heart could talk, you’d hear it say, “Lord, help me live another day” CHORUS Send me Send me to the places where a million tender faces paint a portrait of despair Send me Send me with Your graces Let my arms bear the embraces of someone who cares Send me VERSE 2 She used to be her daddy’s girl But daddy died and left this world They put her in a loveless home She’s surrounded, but so all alone They only feed her what falls to the floor But it’s her soul that hungers to the core No one loves her, and she don’t know why “Oh, papa – who’s gonna hold me tonight?” PRE-CHORUS Take a look so deep into her eyes Ain’t no tears ‘cause they’ve run dry If her heart could talk, you’d hear it say, “God, help me live another day” BRIDGE Faith alone is not enough to warm a heart that’s frozen Let His water fill your empty cup and flood you as His chosen It only takes a loving heart willing to be broken It only takes a mouth from which these humble words are spoken
