Story behind the song
This song tell about the story of an old woman, selling plastic flower in the corner of a central road. So old and poor, yet so clean and pure, she touched my soul with her heteless glance.
Lyrics
2TH DAY OF AUGUST She was sitting in the corner she was selling cartoon flowers she was old and probably cold she was clean and far from home She had them lain down on a cloth she had made them the day before she had the smell of love and food she was clean and far from home You're so beautifu you know? a son stole your money for drugs you made your flowers yesterday without hate for him alone You're so beautiful you know? in the corner of a road you made your flowers at home without hate for the love of your son And I wanted to buy your flower And I came so near to you That i could see the pain and ruin That life had lain on you And so beautiful you were And so clean your flowers were I' coudn't touch your hand I couldn't stare in your eyes So I ran away from you from your plastic flowers made of such a pure mother love of such painfull love for your son So I ran away and never could find again your old cloth You never came back to that corner I never could have one of your flowers Untill a day I walked that street the same corner since then yours I saw empty as it always was but that empltyness was cold
