Story behind the song
Playing what would be my first electric guitar, my Parker Fly, the tune came out. The phrase "God is in the house" came out during a freejam during band practice. Then I just set out to write a good, singable rock tune that would bless our church family. It has become one of our favorites!
Lyrics
INTRO-CH-CH-V1-MCH-CH-V1-BR-BR-CH-END CH: God is in the house, hear his people sing Praises to the risen, everlasting King God is in the house, hear his people shout Glory, Hallelujah!
