Mario D’Andreta aka dr.who He performs sound experiments in the field of concrete and acousmatic music, pursuing the effects of estrangement through the use of the habitual pattern of everyday sounds. He started his research in the musical field thirteen years ago, through minimalist piano solo works, gradually approaching electronic music. He studied experimental music aesthetic with the electronic musician Maurizio Martusciello aka Martux_M and computer music with the jazz pianist Riccardo Ballerini. From 2003 he co-manages the label Idroscalo D'Autore with Antonella Pintus aka annabolena, co-produces its first release "Disco compatto numero uno" and together they form duet NOITZ . In 2005 he conceives and starts the project "Scatole Sonore" together with "L'Antascorrevole" cultural association, with the purpose to create a network of exchange between Artists and art spaces in Italy (www.scatolesonore.org).
