Contemporary music with a message...
The beginning of this work goes back to the late '90s. Although a believer since 1983, I had allowed sin to once again rule my life with devastating results. Having come to my senses, I fell on my face and sincerely asked God to give me one more chance to be the man that He wanted me to be. God heard my prayer and began doing a serious work inside of me, one that I was finally willing to let Him do. Today I am a substantially different man, one who has begun to learn the value of abiding in Christ every day. To know Jesus Christ and to live openly and honestly before Him and other men is the focus of my life now. I hope that these songs somehow express that. It is my prayer that they will bring blessing, encouragement and healing to others like myself who love the Lord and are still in the battle against personal sin. We have a great Savior and He makes us... Free Indeed! God bless... Dale J. Mayer and , two great places to spend some time.

Story behind the song
"If you abide in me and my words abide in you, then you will bear much fruit" (John 15) May I never forget this again!
Lyrics
Chorus If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, You’ll ask what you will, it will be done for you. Herein is my Father glorified, That you should bear much fruit. Verse 1 I am the vine, you are the branches; Remain in Me, I’ll remain in you. Apart from Me, you can do nothing; You must abide in the Truth. (repeat Chorus) Verse 2 You did not choose Me, but I chose you; That you might go and bear fruit; And your fruit will remain; Because you ask in My Name. (repeat Chorus) Verse 3 Now I have called you my friends And you obey My command To love one another as I have loved you And laid down my life for your sins. Verse 4 But I have not left you alone; Your heart has become my new home. Because I live,… you also shall live; My Father has made you His own. Final Chorus So you abide in me, and I abide in you, And you ask what you will and it is done for you. Herein is my Father glorified,… That you should bear much,… That we should bear much,… That you should bear much fruit. Herein is our Father glorified,… That we should bear much,… That you should bear much,… that we should bear much fruit.
