Welcome
Story behind the song
I often wonder how people get on the road they are on.
Some seem to have every duck in a neat little row,
and appear to have always been on a certain path.
For myself, I know there have been several paths, and some might even have been called an incorrect path. But I clearly remember the day I cried save me.
(Turning point... If you will)
anyway this was a result of those thoughts.
I wrote the music for this piece just the other day,
the lyrics I actually wrote back in 2003.

"The Smile On My Face"

I can tell by the way of your stand you know Jesus
And it shows in the smile on your face
I know well it's to God that you pray to each morning
And each night it's to Him you give thanks
Have you always know Jesus
Did you always obey
Were you brought up to
Kneel down and pray
Can you say
By the smile on my face
Can I tell you my God is alive
Did you know that the road doesn't start with a smile
And it's heartache and pain that He heals
Can you say you remember the day you cried
Have you always know Jesus
Did you always obey
Were you brought up to
Kneel down and pray
Can you say
By the smile on my face
Was there a day that He pulled you from hell
Can you say you remember the day you cried save me
And the day that He pulled you from hell
Do you wake up each morning and thank God
Do you really know Jesus
Do you always obey
Do you remember to
Kneel down and pray
Can you say
By the smile on my face
