This song talks about how everybody got troubles in their life. So it's like everybody's a book 'cause every person got they own story.
Keep it positive, but I keep it real ya feel me. I stay away from cuss words and any negative immage, but I spit what I been through at the same time.

Story behind the song
I was on the bus on the way to California and I would sit by people and we would talk, and I just heard different stories and everybody had one. So it inspired me to write a song about it.
Lyrics
Closed Book You can tell everybody’s a book But you won’t know ‘cause you never look Everybody has a story And I can whitness I don’ been around the world And there’s some people’s sad stories that I heard Every single person I met they like a book They’d tell me all the contents inside if they could But the story they hide But if you take the time to get know ‘em you’ll find That there’s a whole book wit chapters and rhymes It’s a sad story and a poem most of the time And everybody’s got it just listen to mine Parents divorced by the age of three On valentines day how worse could it be And then movin’ back and forth from mom to dad Not knowin’ where I belonged I could rather be dead Havin’ a mom on drugs, yeah she layed out on rugs And then my little brother his dad and our mom Custody couldn’t be more wrong Two little kids it seems life’s already gone Then it was me and John Both stripped away from mom I was eleven and he was only five Now I’m nineteen that’s eight years went by That’s a long time to not see my brother You can tell everybody’s a book But you won’t know ‘cause you never look Everybody has a story And I can whitness Everybody got somethi’n they went through Maybe somethin’ small like you had to move schools Or somethin’ tragic your baby died from a flue Parents got divorced when you was only two Gained twenty pounds what are you gonna do Everybody has sometin’ in they past But it’s all closed up and they don’t share too fast I gotta tell you man, people’s stories is a shock Yeah everybody’s got one believe it not Just take the time to ask some people on the bus Yeah they might look at like you kinda nuts But you could reach out and make ‘em feel real good. You don’t know they could’ve came from the hood Where nobody cared Where they had a room with five brothers they shared You can tell everybody’s a book But you won’t know ‘cause you never look Everybody has a story And I can whitness Is there a happy ending, that’s what I wonder It could be for me, since I have my mother But then I don’t know because where’s my brother What about the people who lost their baby What if god blessed them wit a set of twins I don’t know maybe What about a child who died from cancer Her dream is gone of bein’ a dancer I don’t know, I guess all we can do is pray on that. The lord can bless the ending of our book, and we can come out strong from it. You can tell eveerybody’s a book But you won’t know ‘cause you never look Everybody has a story And I can whitness
