A happy love song. Lots of pep and energy in this one.

I write all kinds of music from gospel to country, comedy to childrens songs as well as instrumentals. I play guitar (acoustic and lead) and sing with a count
I was born in the mid 1950's, and began playing guitar when I was 14 years old. I have played with many of the early (70's & 80's)country singers. I wrote my first song when I was 15 and now have over 120, from gospel to country. I love the challenge of writing a song that people can relate to, yet to say it in a brand new way. I play with a local group called Common Bond and jam whenever I can find some others pickers.

Story behind the song
I was just thinking how love can grab your heart and make you forget who you are. And that's a good thing.
Lyrics
The clock says nearly four am, soon the sun'll be coming up, Been awake all night with this crazy grin, mesmerized by your love. Got this big ole smile that I can't wipe off, plastered firmly on my lips, My oh my, I'm such a lucky guy to have found a love as good as this. Chorus It's only once in a lifetime that a love like this comes along, I know that it's true that sometimes, you miss your chance and then it's gone. So I can't help but think about the lovin you give, how I long for your embrace, This lovin' you smile is gonna last awhile, It feels so good here on my face. 2 Everyday at work somebody always asks, hey buddy what you smilin' about? They know something is definately different, but they can't seem to figure it out. When the whistle blows I run out to my truck, burn up the road headin' for home, Her love might kill me yet, but I'll have no regret, My goodness, what a way to go.
