Story behind the song
It started as this simple little melody I was working on as an exercise - and one that I wanted to remember, so I called up Cubase and began to record. Wouldn't you know it, it soon became a full-blown song - especially after I came up with another part while idly noodling after the first verse. Still, I took my time with it. I'd come back on a session only to just add a synth part here, a bass line there, and two rhythm guitar parts to give it some girth. More noodling gave me some ideas for guitar harmony lines. And then one day I got the strange urge to finger-tap (something I don't tend to do often). I think this is the best thing I've ever done. Please let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy it.
