Rob Boynton, songwriter, musician
I am a singer/songwriter living in Florida. I write a variety of styles, but mostly country. I have always loved music of all styles, and began writing lyrics as a teenager. I learned to play guitar at 18 and the bass at 30. I began writing music in my mid twenties, and have finally gotten to where I think I have gained maturity as a song writer.

Story behind the song
I actually overheard a phone conversation in which someone used the title phrase and that sparked the idea for the song.
Lyrics
Verse 1 Darlin' it's good to see you again How've you been? It's been a long, long time Lately, things don't seem so crazy And I find I'm no longer losing my mind. Chorus: I'm over you getting over me Baby, our past is now history Call me crazy, cause as crazy as you've made me I'm over you getting over me. Verse 2 Sugar, I can still remember The first time I saw you and I knew That forever, we'd be together I guess I never counted on losing you. Chorus: Bridge: I nearly lost my mind, girl when I lost you Only to find that I could make it through Chorus
