Fictional story of a typical broken relationship but the guy just can't get over the girl. As much as he wants to move on, his memory just won't let go.
This won an Honorable Mention in the 1989 Billboard Songwriting Contest.
Again done on cassette 4 trak, I squeezed all I could onto the original 4 traks. Then mixed it down to another stand-alone deck while adding a vocal harmony. At this point, the basic trak is mastered and can't be changed. Then I dumped that back into the 4 trak and added another harmony so all of that is on 2 traks in stereo. Then I added double lead vocals on the remaining 2 traks and then played the lead guitar "live" to the mastered 2 trak. Whew!
