Story behind the song
The Sundown band members were TommyEarl, George Norman, Jim Hollingshead and Bob Dowdy. The song was performed and recorded to a 4 trk tape recorder in the spring of 1980. A 2 trk stereo mix was not performed until 27 years after the recording. I didn't want to rush anything.
