Story behind the song
A-side of a single, independently written, performed, produced, manufactured and distributed.
This came off the heels of an "almost-was" band that simply dissolved, and since I felt so close to realizing the songs I had ready for the group, I decided to take a few of them into the studio.
Though it's in need of a remix, this stands as a document of what ended up being a beginning of many sorts for me. This was the optimistic A-side, the B-side, in contrast, is much darker, but with some similarities in intensity and the sense of atmosphere.
