Story behind the song
Less than a second of material was used to produce this track, including Alyssa Geiger singing the word "perfect", and the three percussive buffers the trainlets are filtered with to yeild the rhythmic stuff. evenutally the rhythmic stuff becomes convolved with a series of sinewaves to produce the counter melody. Alyssa's voice undergoes massive granulation, waveshaping, mantissa truncation. The some of the material is passed through a filter of itself, squaring the spectrum, making the stronger components stronger, and then the resultant spectrum is frozen when the signal decreases below a variable threshold. In addition, the master mix was then granulated further into clouds of just-intervalled pitch, speed, and granular rate, producing further complex drum patterns. A melodic line is sculpted from Alyssa's voice in this way. All that material in the end of the piece is just her voice.
