Story behind the song
Guitars, synths, and a little inspiration... “A rare whooping crane and his mate have returned to the Lowcountry for a second winter, but the nearly extinct wading bird are facing a new threat - paparazzi. Birders and photographers are drawn to the 5-foot-tall birds. But South Carolina wildlife officials want to create a perimeter of an eighth of a mile between onlookers and the birds. The whooping cranes have already backed away from marshes to more secluded areas after word of their arrival leaked out on the Internet and drew audiences. About 80 of the 500 birds believed remaining in the US migrate each year between their summer breeding grounds in Wisconsin and the Southeast. “ Story quoted from http://www.wistv.com/Global/story.asp?S=5998902 I always thought there was something beautiful and graceful about cranes.
