Canadian girl rockin out on the guitar...sometimes with the help of some very talented friends.
I am a Canadian girl that fell in love with music at an early age. I sang in church choirs, then in school, I sang in plays, and began to take lessons. After a year of lessons, I joined a school for performing arts, and continued singing in various choirs. When I went to university, I met a few friends who were interested in starting a band, so I then sang in two bands, and started to teach myself to play the guitar. I do not care as much about being 'good' at music as I do about being 'able'...I love music in all its varied forms, and I hope to continue to grow as an artist and as a human being.

Story behind the song
I was living far away from where my horse was living, and I had no car at the time. I knew she was being well taken care of but I missed her desperately. Mike knew how sad I was at her absence and wrote this song for me. I adore it...I never thought somone could so accurately describe the relationship between my horse and I. When she came to me, she was in a sad state, as was I. Somehow we needed eachother, and now, having owned her for eight years, she is an integral part of my life.
