This is the title track of the album so you know it's gotta be something serious. The beat is an absolutely CRAZY Final Fantasy 7 sample, and the verses from Jeff, Jun and I are equally outrageous.

Nerds While AZN (NWA) was originally an idea thrown around as a joke, something that would never fully become a reality. However, thanks to a little ingenuity, a few instrumentals, and two or three microphones, NWA became a reality on September 15, 2004, with the track "NWA Anthem," a song that shocked the hell out of everybody who originally expected something sucky (only to receive something godly). Originally, NWA was planned as starring Jeff King (DMK), Jun Xiang (Jam Master Jun), and an unnamed third party who has since been incarcerated for selling bootleg textbooks (we love you, Zhen). Jeremy Blum (Blummer) ended up taking the reigns as the third member of the group, however, mainly because he was the only one at the time who knew how to put the tracks together. In the end, Nerds While AZN transformed into much more than a simple joke and quickly became a serious undertaking. The group has gone on to release track after track, combining inspirational raps about everyday life with hard-hitting beats, occasionally with guest appearances from anyone who wants to jump in. Nerds While AZN is: DMK (Jeff King) Long regarded as an inspiring example of innate goodness, as well as the originator of the intense "Nerd Pride" revolution of 2003-2004, Jeff King surprised the world by assuming his DMK (Dark Man King) persona for the first NWA track, "NWA Anthem." He has since become widely known for his passionate rapping style (which usually involves yelling himself hoarse over a beat) and powerful, emotional solo songs such as "The Heart's Reality" and "Final Fantasy." Jam Master Jun (Jun Xiang) Originally reluctant to join the group (because he thought he was too cool or something) Jun changed his mind after "NWA Anthem" came out. Making his first appearance on the "Match The Nerds With The Voice" track, Jun brought with him influence from famous mainstream emcees as well as a distinct rapping voice, often considered to be a bridge between DMK's yelling and Blummer's softer style. Aside from writing good hooks, Jun has also been the star of many of the most popular tracks in NWA history. Blummer (Jeremy Blum) JB is one of the originators of the Nerds While AZN concept, the third member of the group, and the resident producer of almost every NWA track (he basically does a lot of stuff). He has become known for his soft yet distinct rapping style which often utilizes multiple bars ending with the same rhyme. As the group producer, Blummer loops instrumentals and edits vocals to create the unique NWA sound. He also maintains the NWA website and has gone on to produce three solo mixtapes of his own: "Gaiden," "Bushido," and "Densetsu." So that's NWA. And yes, we know we aren't the first group to use that acronym--this originally started out as a joke, remember? Anyway, if you didn't know who we were before, now you do.

Nerds While AZN - Trinity (DMK) mind set, i'm here, last battle, no fear my turn, beware, limit break, steer clear our strife was always seen as in the clouds pursuit of Meteorain that would crush all doubts but who knew the struggles we locked in our hearts would one day resolve with a full circle somersault party of three, we've battled from Cherry Hill taken our hits, level up to Princeton, still with this experience, it's time to take it home from C-Hill to P-town, internationally known load up the ammo, we're Barrett Wallace gung-ho songs cut like Omnislash, Highwind starts to flow the air is full of hope, run by the pulse of life but poverty deprives choice, no choice but to fight the monster spews toxins, blinds children's sight his infidels starve them, torture human rights the antidote is here, but no access in their plight we've sighted it in stride, time to send out the knights we worship the legends, gear up our might when our limits break, clouds will end the strife (Blummer) stylistically enabled to destruct a turntable i remain a verbalistic hip-hop crusader possessing a flow so vivid and versatile it'll take down any opponent, win any trial look at us as we emerge through misty mountains past rivers of eternity, crystallized fountains battling from Icewind Dale to Baldur's Gate in pursuit of Mithral Hall where our enemies await and yet we show no fear, let the beasts draw near no swords by our sides, only microphones here metallic weapons of silver, watch as they fly through the air send sound waves shootin' out through the shadows like flares the honor of paladins, the smarts of mercenaries carving through history, witness our story legends will speak of us and the songs we leave behind a legacy beyond what you can fast forward or rewind an exquisite trio with the skills of Jet Li in Hero when we're gone, they'll still summon us like Bahamut ZERO to fire lasers on our enemies, douse 'em in Hennessey spark the fire on 'em, a pyrotechnical remedy are my metaphors too bizarre for you to understand? just remember we built pyramids from oceans of sand made magic music, from the US to Japan we're the Heroes of Earth, like Leehom Wang (Jam Master Jun) yo, we came, we saw, and we conquered it all the prophet foretold it, read the writing on the wall we're redeemed, we're the team, we're the Trinity three and we're back with the pact and the emcee guarantee what we brought to the game was a love for the music i guess we were tired of seein' others abuse it and it bothers me still when i see people confuse it yeah, the rhymes are tricky, but that doesn't excuse it but in spite of it all, we still go and produce it spit the verse with precision, there's no way to refuse it for piercing my heart, all my thanks to the muses without art to infuse it, all the passion is useless so we're major now, we got the flavor now the songs that we make are life-savers now all the odds in the game are in our favor now we're the high-rollers makin' every wager now we're not the father, the son, or the holy ghost we're the brothers, and brother to brother we toast so cheers, time for congratulation not NWA, we're the Nerds While AZN
