me and my patna liquid a-k-a brotha' black started making demos on this karoake machine in east oakland in 2002, at first we were just messing around but it got serious. we made songs to the furthest extent we could and we decided to start playin with the toys that the big boys play with. ever since then we have, piece by piece built our own studio, registered our independant label name , and have been cookin up some hot shit. now it's time to do something with it. we met a very distinct unsigned veteran of the rap game who has been dedicated to us the whole time(since 2002), and his name is mij. i (six) was given my rap name or stage name my the dance industry as well as liquid. liquid's musical strength and most of his contribution to homegrown recordz is by way of making the beats or instrumental tracks.don't sleep on his lyrical skills he's been a well written poet years before he decided to mess with the rap game. so every now and then he'll spit on a track but he usually stays behind the scenes and tends to the arrangment side of things. as for me and mij stonecold hardcore rappers to the bone.
