Well, I was debating this this guy, Seth, on weather my friends band was christian or not. Then I got to thinking that many people judge on what they're not used to. Weather it be Gospel Music or anything else.

Gospel Music is music that spreads the gospel. Gospel being that Jesus was born, He lived, He died, and He rose again. Donnie McClurkin said, "The Gospel is the birth, the life, the death, the ressurection, and the 2nd coming of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." And just because it's not hand clapping foot stomping music, doesn't mean it's not Gospel. If you get the Gospel Music Channel you realize that they don't just play "Black" Gospel, or Southern Country Gospel. They play rap, soul, rock, pop, alternative, and any other type of music that spreads the Gospel. Everybody is not going to like Canton Spirtuals. Not everybody is going to like Randy Travis. Not everybody is not going to like Da Truth. Not everybody is going to like the Clark Sisters. So there needs to be an alternative that people can listen to. Take me for example. I used to listen to 2pac, Lil Wayne, Jay Z, Nas, Ludacris, and all them other people. Now I listen to Lecrae, Da Truth, KJ-52, Cross Movement, John Rueben, Grits. I used to listen to Korn, Limp Bizkit, Puddle Of Mudd. Now I listen to Norma Jean, Demon Hunter, With Fearful Eyes, dc Talk. Get my drift. I'm sick of people hating on things that's not traditional. We need to get out that mantality. There is some Gospel rappers, Gospel rockers, Gospel punk, Gospel pop, Gospel Alternative, etc. Stop hating on what you're not used to. If the music is spreading the good news about Jesus Christ, no matter what genre, it's Gospel Music. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
