Ain't technology wonderful?
good without one politica
Artist picture
liberal ranting and raving, but sensitive explorations of the current American malaise
Good Without One was a drummerless and mercifully leaderless rock trio performing off the track and often humorous, often political originals and originally arranged covers. The players are George Potor, guitar and vocals, Joe DeCristopher, guitar and vocals, and Rick Totten, bass and vocals. These folks have played together in different contexts for decades, but only as this particular trio from 2003 - 2008. While the level of musicianship is high, their disdain for the trappings of rock stardom is legendary. Two of the members even remained seated throughout performances, despite no obvious physical impairments. Their drummerless approach was a novel but occasionally successful scam to get electric instruments into acoustic venues.

Story behind the song
Local weather forecasters have resorted to Future Radar, a technological innovation that provides a precise picture of things that haven't happened yet. George found this similar to his weekly tarot card readings. And almost as accurate.
Lyrics
INTRO: Experience Future Radar on FUDAR-TV Clairvoyant Technology VERSE 1: Here’s the satellite image For the rest of the night; It’s sure to be dark Until it gets light. Now you don’t see it; Tomorrow you will. We’re in for some weather; I’m getting the chills. CHORUS: Future Radar, post-modern weather Future Radar, light as a feather VERSE 2: Foresee the prediction, I know this for sure; When Hell freezes over We’ll feel it before. Imagine the picture Transported through Time; It’s gone and comes back Still in its prime. CHORUS: Future Radar, post-modern weather Future Radar, light as a feather
