north mythology boreas
Artist picture
Boreas, North Wind, Mythology.
Boreas: The north wind, son of the dawn (Eos) and the stars (Astraeus). He was worshipped in Attica because a north wind had assisted the Greeks at the naval battle of Artemisium. Boreas has been around since 2005. It has been a VERY slow process to get the songs recorded but well worth it. Created in western Florida during the summer of '05, Boreas has been a one man project under many circumstances. Enjoy the songs which are listed. They will be the only ones available until the next album. Hail! My plan for Boreas is to release 6 albums. One of each will have a different theme of mythology behind it. Story behind the song
It tells the story of Icarus.
Lyrics
Wax wings see the land far and wide bringing destruction of a lost one Icarus! falling from the sky down into the pits of hell bound forever in the depths of tartarus Atlas has cast you down from the chasm from whence you came Icarus! falling from the earth in the firey realm forever a slave by chains of hell
