Another moody, atmospheric song.
Music from the mind of an INFP
Story behind the song
One of my favorite songs I ever recorded, despite it's "low-fi charm".
The whirling sound of my Hammond organ's Leslie cabinet was the time keeper. Every thing revolved around that. I played an odd classical guitar for the fills, and played the electric guitar as the rhythm.. tried to reverse the norm..
Lyrics
Don't tell me Winter's over
See the clouds in the sky
And don't you tell me things are changing
See the look in your eye
Can you feel it or did you steal it
Would you pray for me
And did you make it 'cause I can't fake it
There's nothing left for me
Don't tell me that you're thinking
'bout them things we said
And don't go telling all your friends that
All them things in your head
Oh can you feel it or did we steal it
Would you pray for me
I didn't make it I just can't fake it
There's nothing left for me
Can you feel it or did you steal it
Did you pray for me
Well I can't make it 'cause I just can't fake it
There's nothing left for me
Don't tell me that Summer's coming
There's a chill in the air
And don't you tell me that come Autumn
That you'll still care..
