Canadian composer of original jazz fusion.
I studied classical composition at Carleton University. I then moved to Montreal to study jazz composition with Andrew Homzy and Joe Sullivan. I am currently studying counterpoint in the Baroque style. My plan is to meld classical with jazz harmonies scored for an electronic orchestra.

Story behind the song
This tune was inspired by the White Stripes song "My Doorbell". Jack White was playing these chunky chords on piano and singing. I liked the aggressiveness of the piano playing and I thought I would incorporate that feeling into a jazz piece. The solo section didn't quite turn out how I planned. Everything is in rhythm but the drums ended up having a poly-rhythmic feel. I play all the instruments. The trumpet and tenor saxaphone are from AMG Kick Ass Brass. The piano is a Giga Studio sample. The drums are programmed on my Boss DR-670.
