Hip hop with the emphasis on lyricism mainly.
Whats goooood? Figured it was time to update this shin dig. My name is Sarah V, aka Lady Essence or Lady E. Been rapping for almost 7 years now. well, I wrote for four years and Ive been recording for the last three. My boy YS-2 started producing my tracks, then I bought his studio and I started producing my own shit. I try to vary as much as I can with my style, whether on some abstract, hard hitting, or story telling shit, I try to mix it up as much as possible so I don't get too boring. I don't really do battles, the track I did against LD and Deth Moad were my first battle tracks. Anywho, hope you enjoy, if you have any questions or comments feel free to hit me up!

Lyrics
you know we was young when we started this- thought I was an artist- the hardest chick- Not the hottest by far- but an honest chick- my rhymes- and my lines- were accomplishments- the accomplices- 2 kids in a trend- 2 kids with a pen- you grew big- blew cigs with ya friends- grew big with the pens- I was a no-name- you were known for ya flow- they say whoa thats so shane- Sarah thats so lame- why u tryin to be black- why u tryna show game- Yet I was writin at night- grab the pen fast when the lightening would strike- in my brain- it remains- teh brightest tow rite among peers- hung fears- I was righteous to mics- and you... you were the tighest of tight- You could write- with a sight- only life could ignite- and I was envious of that- Friendly when we rapped- still we werent friends- just blending in the tracks- tryna make the flow- battlin incessantly- grapplin with weapons see- so much passion- you was askin for the best of me- see- thats how wind blew- thats how I got into- the style Im into- but since u left- now im im dead too- They say its only tracks- only raps- sarah just quit holding- let go relax- but no, it just grows- echoes in back- of the days we would blaze- breath blows for rap- you know..lets go in back- of time, fore you shined- fore' you showed me that- life is composed of this molding crap- that only lets u go when exploding back- on a track- on a page- no matter the place- nno matter what it takes- you can battle for stakes- You can rattle all these fakes- get em outta the place- you can punch em in the face- with a crowd and a tape- thats all it takes kid- yo thats all you need- thats all that we bleed for- and its all in me- and you could always see- when i was so scared to rap Id hardly breathe- it was hard for me- and when the baby came- I was happy for you- but it made me change- you had to grow- and I was mainly staged- all that shit i wrote- was just crazy rage- and im sorry for that time- but this lady's changed- gutta grow with the flow- gutta save these names-
