I open my eyes to see myself alone
hanging in a moment of timeless presence
things are different than what they used to be
i can see now how much ive lost
was too focused on everthing
everything else passed me by
i take a breath and raise my hand beyond
grab the sky and beg it to stop
but time pushed me back and rolled on
it was then i realized that all i can do is
watch the illustrated years in frames on my wall
