The Colorado harmonica legend known only as the Mad Dog has been playing solo and in bands for over 35 years. Renown for his raucous leads, funky rhythms, and raw and soulful blues, Mad Dog continues to expand his stylistic repertoire with his new CD, Harmonica: So Low (www.maddogharp.com) and with his band Harmonica Loowinski (www.wedontsuck.com).

Story behind the song
This is the origianl version of Shining Through I wrote to get my girl friend back. It only worked for a month or so. The arrangement is by King Comfort with Jonathan Fuller on guitar.
Lyrics
Shining Through Hear the wind, wind a rattling the trees Lot like the way, way you rattle me Call out my name I ain’t to blame The way your loving Liquefy my brain I see you shining You’re just a shining in everything I see Hear that rain, you know it’s just a beating down It’s a lot like my tears, when your not around Get chills inside It makes me high Your sweet loving baby’s Got me mystified I see you shining You’re just a shining in everything I see Harp break with harp/guitar together on chorus Watch the stream, I mean that stream’s just a rolling by You know a love like ours ain’t never gonna die Moon come out at night Sun come in the day Been no light in my world Since you went away I see you shining You’re just a shining in everything I see
