Story behind the song
I wrote this song about a girl who came to Hollywood searching for her dream to become famous like hundreds of thousands of people do every year. She ended up commiting suicide after the true realization sunk in that getting work in this town depends a lot on education and who you know. The drugs got the best of her. I wrote this in her memory.
