WELCOME IN THE BLUESBOX ------------------------------------ Thank you all for the support and the interest shown in our music since we started out in December 2006. BLUESBOX is a group of friends playing together, recording and uploading their stuff in the internet. It's not a traditional band ..... maybe it's more like an independent recording label. Everything is done without profit being involved, though. It costs us no big money to do it. I tell you: we would buy our instruments and use our time to play them anyway, wouldn't we ? There you go, as silly as it can be ..... we just do it for the sake of music. Unluckily we can be very lazy: most of the things are totally improvised ..... and recorded in a very basic way ..... but does it really matter ? Nobody's perfect ... right ? Thanks for your visit ..... we appreciate it. And remember .... you can listen, download, broadcast everything for free. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here's who is who ..... _________________ - T-BONE MUSTANG a.k.a. Story behind the song
I am really glad I had the opportunity to work on this tune with my friend Sandro Mondini. Me and him used to drive around the country late at night something like 10 years ago. He was the singer and I was the drummer of a blues band and we were quite busy at the time. We were often talking about our personal issues, among which the troubled relationship with his father was the most spoken. It was mostly when me and him were heading home after our gigs. Then we didn't imagine one day we could put all that stuff into a tune. ------- The tune originally was ment to have a hammond organ but our pianist, Marco, that night had dinner with a colleague from Norway. He had the foolish idea to compete with the Norwegian in a grappa (strong italian liqueur) contest ... he came to my studio saying he won ... but he could barely walk. Result: no hammond organ part could be recorded that night.

Music: Andrea Cremona Lyrics: Sandro Sam Mondini Arrangement: Alessandro Romanello Sandro Sam Mondini: voice Alessandro Romanello: guitars Frank Quartieri: harmonica Marcello Cremona: bass Andrea Cremona: drums ------------------------------------------------- I remeber the day I left my father's house mum was crying he don't even say goodbye do what I say or you can walk out my door never listen if I was right or wrong well one day he pissed me off and I packed up my things and walked that door had no money but I found a little job I was young then, firm on getting by alone had my troubles, did a thousand of mistakes by myself, trying to drag my blues away without father's support it's hard not to fall and to give up I will try not to do my father's mistake over my son dad forgive me if we didn't understand I have seen all your tears and all your best I ensure you that one day you were wrong I still love you even if I don't let go oh yeah now I have my own son and I know you were wrong only for love but I'll try not to do my father's mistakes over my son (Sandro Sam Mondini)
