Story behind the song
I was inspired by the story of Elijah being taken up by a whirlwind of fire into heaven. It seems America is trying to purge itself of all the people of God. Elijah left Elisha to take his place. America will have none to tell her of salvation once the last God fearing person is gone.
Lyrics
The lyrics are based on the story of Elijah from 2 Kings chapters 1 and 2.
