Story behind the song
This song was written for the theatre performance "The Christmas Eve". The text for it was found amongst the recorded traditional rituals of Russian wedding: the bride cries over her ending freedom and careless youth and her girlfriends are saying "good bye" to her. Premiere: Amsterdam Stadsschouwburg, 1999
