the bunkbeds are jim higgins and the occasional guest players. home made indy rock lofi musings that doesn't take itself to seriously best describes the music and the band. everything recorded at home all on cheap n nasty equipment. the ultimate bedroom band. of late i have found myself collaborating with musicians the world over, predominantly with lyrics and vocals so if you have a tune banging around that you cant come up with lyrics for send it my way and i'll see if i can help.

Story behind the song
song originally written in 1990* (approx) was inspired by the fact i had finally resigned my job in edinburgh and was heading back to work and live in glasgow, and i was elated about it. the 2007 version has had some major tweaks in the lyrics and could be about anything, i'm sure everyone will interpret it differently in a way personal to them, so feedback is welcome.
